Rebecca Olsen, an influencer frequently spotted in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles, has reportedly returned to living on the streets following a recent stay in a rehabilitation facility. Sources close to Olsen told TMZ that she exited the treatment program after 37 days, a period that included time spent in jail. According to those familiar with her situation, this marked the longest stretch of sobriety she has had in recent years.

Friends Cosmo Lombino and Ansley Morgan shared details about Olsen’s departure from rehab, stating that she made the decision to leave on her own. Cosmo told TMZ:

“She kept saying sorry, but she had made up her mind — and she had plans to leave.” They added that Olsen is “just isn’t ready and willing to seek treatment for her drug addiction” at this time.

Concerns about her well-being increased after a video uploaded to TikTok on January 1 surfaced online. In the clip, Olsen is seen telling a fan that she spent New Year’s Eve walking along train tracks after being sold what she described as bad drugs. The video has since drawn renewed attention to her situation and raised alarms among those who have been supporting her recovery efforts.

Rebecca Olsen’s friends urge treatment support

Cosmo expressed belief that Olsen may need to reach a personal turning point before accepting help again.

“We did everything we could, so now it’s up to prayer and she’s basically got to hit a bottom,” Cosmo said. He added, “And since she got a taste of rehab, I know it affected her and will affect her getting high now.” He also noted, “Hopefully she’ll come back to my store ready to get sober. Until she admits to it, I’ll have to stand back.”

In addition to ongoing substance abuse concerns, Olsen is expected to appear in court in June, potentially related to a battery charge from last year. Both Cosmo and Ansley have emphasized the importance of her returning to treatment ahead of the court date.

Olsen’s friends are also urging the public not to enable her behavior. They are asking supporters not to give her money and instead to bring her to Cosmo’s Glamsquad store so they can help guide her toward treatment options. They shared:

“If any facilities think they’re a good fit that may want to scholarship her, please let us know.”

They also revealed that Olsen has shown interest in seeking help from the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, as discussions about possible next steps continue.
